Please join us for a dynamic presentation and conversation from Diana Eusebio, the Catskill Art Space and Gael Roots Community Farm jointly hosted Fiber Arts Resident. The presentation marks the culmination of the fourth annual residency, offering the artist time and space to explore cultivated and wild dye plants, the fiber flax to linen process, and wool from the Icelandic and Shetland sheep raised on the Livingston Manor-based farm. Eusebio will be joined in conversation with Iris Fen Gillingham, founder and director of Gael Roots Community Farm, for a wide-sweeping discussion on the residency and interactive presentation with resources from the farm.
About the Artist
Diana Eusebio (b. 1998, Miami) is a Peruvian-Dominican textile artist based in Miami. Eusebio holds a BFA in Fiber from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Most recently during Art Basel 2025, she opened her first museum solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami, on view until Spring 2026. Her work has been published in theArt Newspaper, Financial Times, Impulse Magazine, Whitewall, Artforum, Hyperallergic, WLRN, Surface Design Magazine, Vogue Italia, Paper Magazine, The New York Times, and Cultured Magazine’s “A Decade of Young Artists” publication. She has presented her work at the Museum of Modern Art (NY), School of Visual Arts (NY), Sotheby’s Frieze (NY), Hall of Nations (DC), Perez Art Museum Miami (FL), Rubell Museum (FL), Ringling Museum (FL), Lowe Art Museum (FL), Gregg Art Museum (NC), University of Massachusetts (MA), Rutgers University (NJ), MICA (MD), Nouveaux Deuxdeux Gallerie (Germany), Palazzo de Cartelloni (Italy), Pinta Art Fair (Peru), and Museo de Arte Moderno (Colombia). Awards include the Obama administration’s 2016 U.S. Presidential Scholar in the Arts, the highest national honor for a young artist and 2024 YoungArts Jorge M. Perez $25,000 Prize. Her work is in international collections in New York, Miami, Latin America and Europe, such as Museum of Contemporary Art Miami, National Park Service, Arsht Center, Miami-Dade Art and Public Places, Sotheby’s, Hampton Black Arts Council, and various private collections. Studio residencies include Anderson Ranch, Aspen; Textile Arts Center, Brooklyn; Oolite Arts, Miami; Bakehouse Art Complex, Miami; Eighth House, Vermont; AIRIE Fellowship, Everglades National Park; Texere, Mexico; Edge Zones, Dominican Republic; Apollo Constantino; Colombia. Currently, she is working toward her 2026 exhibition during the Armory Show, New York and 2027 debut solo exhibition at Mindy Solomon Gallery, Miami.
