We are thrilled to welcome Marie Myung-Ok Lee, winner of the inaugural Conjunctions Residency, for a public reading at Catskill Art Space this May during her residency. Conceived as a program that supports not only literary excellence but also generosity within the field, the residency is awarded to a writer whose work is matched by a sustained commitment to uplifting other writers and strengthening the broader literary community. Selected by judge Rick Moody for her “model life in the literary arts,” Lee exemplifies this ethos through both her acclaimed writing, including The Evening Hero, and her longstanding advocacy within the Asian American writing community. Foster Supply Hospitality is generously supporting the residency by providing room and board at Hemlock Neversink Hotel for the two-week stay, and CAS is proud to offer a $1,500 honorarium in recognition of her achievement and contributions.
