About the Artists

Cellist and writer Nicky Swett has been heard in recital across the US and UK, and has served as a section member in the Dorset Opera Orchestra, the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and many other symphony orchestras. For many years, he has been bring his informative, interactive recital and lecture programs to the Catskills region.

Icelandic-American Cellist Geirþrúður Anna Guðmundsdóttir has appeared as a soloist with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra, among others. She performs chamber music across the United States and Europe and her debut album, When the Ice-Heart Beats, will come out on the Orchid Classics label in 2027.
