ADULT ED: DRAWING FOUNDATIONS

This six-week introductory drawing course is designed to build both technical skill and creative confidence. Students will explore essential drawing techniques, beginning with line, shape, and observation, and progress into light, shadow, perspective, and composition. Along the way, they’ll experiment with different materials—including pencil, charcoal, and pastels—while developing finished works from still life to expressive, abstracted forms. With an emphasis on supportive practice, this class encourages students to refine their skills, embrace mistakes, and discover their own artistic voice.
